Yai's Thai Asian Meatloaf

We were so excited to partner with a new Whole30 Approved brand, Yai's Thai sauces to create an Asian Meatloaf for our clients this week. We used a combination of their salsa and relish to make this delicious meat masterpiece that our clients are already raving about. 

Yai's Thai Asian Meatloaf

Serves 10 - Use local and organic ingredients whenever possible

6 oz Yai's Thai Relish
16 oz Yai's Thai Salsa
3 eggs, beaten (Look for: pasture-raised; the term "vegetarian fed" means nothing and the term "free range" is often misleading)
2 lbs ground beef (Look for: pasture-raised, grass-fed, grass-finished)
1 lb ground pork (Look for: pasture-raised, hormone/nitrate/antibiotic free)
1 onion, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
2 tsp chili flakes
1 oz coconut aminos
1 oz sesame oil
1 tsp 5 Spice
Salt and Pepper to taste
Yai's Thai Asian Meatloaf

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

In a large bowl, gently mix together the pork and beef. 

Add the eggs, onion, garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, sesame oil, chili flakes, 5 spice, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently until combined. Add in the Yai's Thai relish. Mix again.

Form the meatloaf into a brick. That is very scientific, I know. But for real, do that. 

Yai's Thai Asian Meatloaf

Place brick on a lined sheet pan (or you can use a loaf pan if you prefer)

Top with Yai's Thai salsa.

Bake for 50 minutes.
