Are you ready for National Avocado Day? July 31st is just around the corner and our friend Kelly LeVeque has shared one of her favorite avocado dishes with us.
Ever wish you could top your avocados with more avocados? Wish no more! Kelly has shared her famous Avocado Hummus with us. She's suggested using it with our Chicken Kabobs + Root Vegetables and trust us... she's right! So turn that regular old hummus into a crowd favorite by following the recipe below.
*use organic ingredients whenever possible*
- 3 avocados
- 1-2 tbsp tahini
- 1-2 garlic cloves
- Squeeze of lemon
1. In a high-powered blender, mix all ingredients until smooth. Drizzle in extra virgin olive oil if it is too thick.
2. Serve in a dip bowl or on the side of a side.
3. Top with nuts or seeds and extra virgin olive oil drizzle.
